Red Sox vs White Sox 8-6-17 Series Finale Recap

Chris Young had a pretty good day. A 3-4 day while driving in five of Boston’s six runs? Sounds like a good day. A solo-homer, an RBI double, and a three-run blast, all by Young.

The one other run was scored by round trip crushed by Edurado Nunez.

Doug Fister had a quality outing with the exception of the second inning where three singles, a double, and a sac-fly accounted for all three White Sox runs. Other than that, he looked great.
He ended up going six and a third, with eight hits against, but not walking any.
During this entire four game series, the relief pitchers of the Red Sox hurled 14 cumulative innings of scoreless ball. Impressive stuff right there.

Final Score

White Sox 3
Red Sox 6
