Very happy Sale day!

Eight innings of shut-out ball letting just three men on base? Sounds just like Chris Sale! Two hits and a walk, with both of the hits being singles.
On top of those spectacular numbers, he also punched out THIRTEEN batters.
Major improvement from last week’s circus of a game.

Craig Kimbrel slammed the door shut as he struck out all three batters that he faced in the ninth inning. Lights out.

The offense scored twice. On twelve hits. That is a problem.
Eduardo Nunez had a double in the first inning with no outs. He was then on third with one out.
Spoiler alert! He didn’t score.

Instead, the first run was scored after a walk, a single, and a run scoring groundout.
That second and last run was scored by Jackie Braldey whom hit the third single in a row, following up on Moreland and Bogaerts.
